Farragut Community Center offers Israeli folk dancing

FARRAGUT, TN – The Farragut Community Center will feature Israeli folk dancing classes October through December.

Israeli folk dance is a community-building style of dance for girls and boys. It consists of circle and line dances. Most of the songs are in Hebrew and the choreography is used around the world!

 

Each class date will feature a time slot for each level of experience. There is a junior class for participants ages 7-10, a level 1 class for ages 10-18 and a level 2 class for ages 10-18. Level 1 prerequisite is encouraged for the Level 2 class, but not required. Preregistration is required for all classes.

 

The October session takes place from 2:45-5:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Oct. 6-27. The four-week session is $40. 

Juniors (Ages 7-10) – 2:45-3:30 p.m.

Level 1 (Ages 10-18) – 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Level 2 (Ages 10-18) – 4:30-5:30 p.m.

 

The November session takes place from 2:45-5:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 3-17. The three-week session is $30. 

Juniors (Ages 7-10) – 2:45-3:30 p.m.

Level 1 (Ages 10-18) – 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Level 2 (Ages 10-18) – 4:30-5:30 p.m.

 

The December session takes place from 2:45-5:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Dec. 8-22 The three-week session is $30.

Level 2 (Ages 10-18) – 4:30-5:30 p.m.
