Town Offers Art Classes for Children and Adults this Winter

Mosaic Bench (Ages 7 - 14)

What: Participants will have the opportunity to learn the art of mosaic and the importance of public art. The artwork produced in this class will be put on permanent display on a Town of Farragut property. The majority of the cost of this class has been underwritten by the Farragut Arts Council to promote arts in the community!

When: Saturday, Feb. 27, 1 - 4 p.m.

Instructor: Wendy Blair

Cost: $10 (all supplies included)

Registration and payment deadline: Monday, Feb. 22

Advanced Jewelry Class

What: Participants will learn to wire wrap and add finishing touches to their jewelry. This class is limited to six people so sign up early!

When: Monday, March 1, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Instructor: Sheila Akins

Cost: $25 (all supplies included - participants can bring their own tools and beads, if desired)

Registration and payment deadline: Wednesday, Feb. 24

These classes are sponsored by the Town of Farragut and will be held in the Community Room of the Farragut Town Hall located at 11408 Municipal Center Drive across from the Farragut Branch Post Office. Payment for classes with a fee must be received within five business days of registration to avoid being dropped from the class. To register and receive more information, please call 966-7057.
