Fathers and Daughters Invited to Dance the Night Away At Shamrock Ball

FARRAGUT, TN - The Town of Farragut and Kiwanis Club of Farragut will host the fifth
annual "Shamrock Ball - A Father-Daughter Dance" on Saturday, March 13, 2010, from 7
to 9 p.m. at the Farragut High School Commons. Fathers and daughters of all ages - as well
as all family members - are welcome and encouraged to attend. 
 
Advance ticket prices are $10 for a father and daughter (or two family members) and $5 for
each additional person; tickets can also be purchased at the door for $15 for a father and
daughter (or two family members) and $8 for each additional person, subject to availability.
Ticket prices include light refreshments, entertainment, craft and door prizes. Ticket outlets
include the Farragut Town Hall, Farragut/West Knox Chamber of Commerce and United
Community Bank.
 
The "Shamrock Ball" will be an evening of music and dancing provided by Gann's
Entertainment, light refreshments and chances to win door prizes donated by local
businesses. Event volunteers will take a photo of each couple which will be available for
purchase one week after the event on a designated photo website. Daughters and family
members will also have the opportunity to make a piece of jewelry to take home.
 
Platinum sponsors for the "Shamrock Ball" are Messer Construction; Slate, Disharoon,
Parrish & Associates, LLC and United Community Bank. Proceeds will benefit Kiwanis
