The Farragut Museum reopens Tuesday, Aug. 11, with a new exhibit, “Farragut at Forty: Celebrating 40 Years of History.” Photos, newspaper articles and artifacts detail the story of the Town through the years, from the challenge of incorporation through the process of creating a new municipal government. Town meetings continue to be held virtually to adhere with the Knox County Health Department’s recommendations regarding crowd size and social distancing, and as permitted under Governor Lee’s Covid-19 pandemic related orders.
