A new Farragut Museum exhibit will open to the public on Thursday, April 2. “Farragut at Forty: Celebrating 40 Years of History” will include photos, newspaper articles and artifacts that tell the story of the Town through the years. The Farragut Museum, located at Farragut Town Hall, is open 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and admission is always free.
Keith McDaniel, who produced the video “A History of Concord and Farragut” in 2018, has been commissioned by the Town of Farragut to create a new video chronicling the founding of the Town. The video will be available for purchase at the museum when the new exhibit opens.
The video will premiere during a special invitation-only event that includes a sneak peek at the new exhibit on Wednesday, April 1. Want to be invited? Learn how to become a Friend of the Farragut Museum at townoffarragut.org/museum.
