In general, all signs of a commercial nature that are intended to be viewed by the public.

3. When is a sign permit required?

When you are erecting, structurally repairing (other than normal maintenance), replacing, altering, relocating, changing the panels of (including tenant panels on existing ground mounted signs), and/or changing the establishment being advertised on a sign.
