The public is invited to an open house at the Campbell Station Inn from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 3. The inn is located at the northwest corner of Kingston Pike and Campbell Station Road. The open house is an opportunity to view the unfinished interior of the inn and provide feedback on a potential future use for the building.
The Town purchased the Campbell Station Inn and its surrounding 2.26 acres in 2012 because of the site’s rich history and prominent location. It was built in the early 1800s and was once a favorite stopping place for families, hunters and stock drivers passing through Knoxville.
The stabilization of the building is nearing completion, and the next phase of renovation will be the construction of a plaza and new entrance roads that will connect the property to Village Green Shopping Center. The interior of the inn will not be finished until a future use has been determined. Comment cards will be available at the open houses; feedback can also be sent to ParksandRecInfo@townoffarragut.org.
Incorporated in 1980, the Town of Farragut has top schools, safe neighborhoods and high development standards, making it one of the best places to live in the Southeast.
