The Town of Farragut will host a free, two-part class on identity theft at Farragut Town Hall, located at 11408 Municipal Center Drive. Instructors are Angeline Anderson and Jason Bowers of LegalShield and Pixelized Designs.
Part I, 6:00-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, is a general overview of identity theft and a broad review of options for protecting yourself online and offline. Registration deadline is Monday, July 30.
Part II, 6:00-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, includes a more focused explanation of how to protect yourself against identity theft. Registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 31.
