Farragut Receives Certificate of Achievement for Financial Reporting

For the 26th consecutive year, the Town of Farragut has received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report.

The Town finance staff, led by Town Recorder Allison Myers, puts together the annual financial report.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. The GFOA is a nonprofit association serving approximately 19,300 government finance professionals. For more information, visit gfoa.org.
