Bat Box Workshop at Town Hall

Join experts from Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) to learn about the bat population in East Tennessee and the benefits that bats provide to our community from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19. Following the presentation, build your own Bat Conservation International-certified, single-chamber bat house to invite these amazing creatures into your home.

There is a $25 charge per bat box. The registration deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 16. Space is limited; register online at, by phone at 218-3375 or in person at Town Hall.
