The 18th annual Fun with Farragut’s Fleet returns to Mayor Bob Leonard Park from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17. Fun with the Fleet is a way for kids to get up close and personal with big equipment used by the Town and other local rescue and construction organizations. As always, this is a free event sponsored by the Town of Farragut.
This year features new participants, along with past favorites. New participants include Whaley Construction, LLC, Tennessee Excavating Company and Landmark Trucks, LLC. Alongside the new participants are Farragut Public Works Department, Smyrna Ready Mix, First Utility District and Rural/Metro.
The First Utility Hydration Station will provide plenty of water and Knoxville Moms Blog will provide snacks. Children’s I.D. kits will be provided by HIS Security.
